What to Expect
A Straightforward Process
Free Discovery Call
We start with a free 20-minute call to talk about where you are, what you're trying to figure out, and whether the HAB is the right fit for you.
Take the HAB
You complete the 19-exercise assessment online at your own pace. It takes about 2–3 hours and can be done from home.
Results Session
We meet one-on-one to go through your results in plain language. No jargon, no overwhelm — just clear insights about how you're naturally wired.
Your Path Forward
You leave with a written summary, an O*NET career map, and a concrete sense of direction — whether that's college, a trade, an internship, or something else.
Common Questions
How long does the HAB take?
The assessment itself takes approximately 2–3 hours and is completed online. You can take breaks between sections.
Do I need to be college-bound to benefit from the HAB?
Not at all. The HAB is valuable for anyone making decisions about their future — college, trade school, apprenticeships, internships, or entering the workforce directly. The O*NET connection covers all of these paths.
What age is the HAB appropriate for?
The HAB can be taken at any age, but it's especially powerful for high school juniors and seniors, college students, and young adults in their 20s who are navigating major life and career decisions.
How is this different from other career tests?
Most career assessments measure personality or interests — which can change over time. The HAB measures natural abilities, which are hardwired and stable. That makes the results more objective and more reliable as a foundation for long-term decisions.
I'd like to sponsor a student. How does that work?
The Discovery Package is $600 per individual — covering the full assessment, results report, and in-depth feedback session. Donors can fund one student or multiple. If you're interested in sponsoring a young person, reach out through the contact form and I'll walk you through the process.
